The Naval War of Emperium is O-Ro's signature guild event: a war between guild fleets, fought on a sea where up to 12 frigates clash at once.
1. Building your frigate
Talk to the Master Carpenter (at the port; guild master only). You'll need to gather the materials and the zeny, and win a mini-battle (a naval combat tutorial):
- 500 Solid Trunk + 500 Barren Trunk + 50 Rusty Screw + 35 Steel + 20 Fabric
- 2,500,000 z
2. Upgrading & maintaining
Your frigate starts at level 1 (5-min war, 3 chests/day) and climbs up to level 5, funded by the ship's own investment:
- Level 2 — 10 M z · 10-min war · 5 chests/day
- Level 3 — 25 M z · 15-min war · 7 chests/day
- Level 4 — 50 M z · 25-min war · 10 chests/day
- Level 5 — 100 M z · 60-min war · 15 chests/day
Treasure chests appear on board every day. Investing zeny (via the NPC Tendra on board) builds your war chest. Repairs cost 50 Barren Trunk + 125,000 z.
3. Going to war
The guild master takes the helm to weigh anchor, then attacks another guild at sea. The battle plays out across one of 6 zones: boarding, destroying barricades (36+), purchasable defensive guardians, and finally — the enemy Emperium.
4. Win… or sink
- Victory: the loser's frigate is destroyed (reset to level 1) and you recover +50% of their investment, plus victory points.
- Fleeing: you lose 10% of your investment (transferred to your opponent) and 1 victory point.
- If time runs out on both sides: double defeat.
