Beyond the towns, 135 maps across O-Ro's world are conquerable territories. Controlling them grants real gameplay bonuses — and a status displayed to everyone.
Claiming a territory
Every territory holds a Totem (a destructible structure). Destroy it and the territory is yours: it's ripped away from its previous owner, an announcement fires on the map, and you receive 5 Territory Portals as a bonus. The Totem respawns 30 seconds later — so a map can change hands at any moment.
The territory bonus
As long as you're on a map you own, you benefit from the Territory buff:
- +1 to every stat per territory you own
- +2% XP (base and job) and +2% drop rate per territory owned by your party — shared whenever you hunt on a party member's map
The more territories your party controls, the faster you farm. Conquest means real, tangible power.
The Territory Portal
The Territory Portal (an item costing 5,000 z from the Territory Manager, Prontera 144,171) opens a group portal to one of your territories:
- Destination menu, 3-second cast time (interrupted if you take damage), costs 20 SP
- The portal stays clickable for 30 seconds — your entire party can jump through
- One-way only, disabled in GvG and Battleground
- If the destination Totem is already badly damaged (≤ 75% HP), you land at a random spot on the map: you can't secure a conquest from your couch

The world map on the site shows, in real time and region by region, who owns what — complete with the owner's sprite and their Law of Blood tier.
