O-Ro is a PK server: outside the towns, PvP is open across the entire world. But killing is never free — every kill pushes you further along one of the two paths of the Law of Blood, the server's homegrown morality system.
Novices can neither attack nor be attacked. So you're safe while you're just starting out.
Two paths, six tiers
Two permanent gauges stand opposed: Glory (the path of Good) and Blood (the path of Evil). Gaining one resets the other to zero — and Blood always overrides Glory.
Path of Good (Glory):
- Valiant — 10+ Glory
- Justicar — 50+
- Hero — 90+
Path of Evil (Blood):
- Wrongdoer — 10+ Blood
- Criminal — 50+
- Murderer — 90+
How you rise (or fall)
- Killing an Evil player while you're Good or Normal: +1 to +6 Glory (depending on your victim's tier).
- Killing a Normal or Good player while you're Evil: +1 to +15 Blood.
- A Good player who kills an innocent: loses 5 to 15 Glory — betrayal comes at a price.
- An Evil player who kills another Evil player: "theft among criminals" — they lose Blood.
Blood decays by 1 per hour of connected playtime (the timer resets with every new crime). Glory, on the other hand, never decays.
Self-defense (Aggressor)
Whoever strikes first between two "normal" players is marked Aggressor for 5 minutes. Their target can then kill them in self-defense, with no morality penalty at all. In short: whoever starts the fight takes the risk.
The privileges of your path
Good side — the spoils of justice. When you kill an Evil player, one of their equipped items can drop to the ground (refine level and cards preserved):
- Valiant: 3% · Justicar: 8% · Hero: 15%
Evil side — plunder. When you kill, you steal zeny from your victim (24h cooldown per victim):
- Wrongdoer: 3% · Criminal: 5% · Murderer: 10%
Making a name for yourself
Becoming a Hero or a Murderer triggers a server-wide announcement. So does assassinating a Hero. Your tier and your kill ratio appear on the rankings and on the territory map.
The choice is yours: the light or the blood. But choose fast — on O-Ro, neutrality never lasts long.
